Read before moving
Official: traffic does not brake for Jimothy. At each new block, spend a moment identifying direction and spacing before committing to a lane.
Because layouts vary, a memorized left-right script is not reliable. The repeatable skill is recognizing a complete gap across the next lane.
Use safe ground deliberately
Cross one lane or hazard band at a time when a resting space exists. Keep Jimothy centered enough that a correction does not push him back into the prior lane.
Sprinklers and yard hazards belong to the five-block route too; treat their cycles like traffic rather than assuming every non-road tile is safe.
Handle the five-lane crossing
Official: one five-lane section has nowhere to stand. Wait for a sequence of connected gaps, then move continuously while adjusting only when the next lane forces it.
Do not enter merely because the first lane is open. The useful opening is a route across several lanes, not a single empty tile.
Retry diagnosis
If you are hit early, you likely committed before reading lane direction. If you are hit late, review whether you paused in the no-rest section or chased a gap that closed ahead.
Unknown: vehicle speeds and generated block probabilities are not published. This guide makes no claim about a guaranteed spawn pattern.
